This allows up to 20 characters with spaces. In BROWSE mode as many characters up to 20 will be displayed that can fit per field size. In RECORD VIEW mode, the entire 20 characters will be displayed leaving enough room on the screen per line for the field number and upto a 50 character data field. We recommend that you don't exceed 50 characters in any of your database fields for field editing purposes. Modem Base will allow data sizes up to 254 characters and display using multiple screen lines of up to 4 lines per field & field editing is limited.
